Classic Tour of Climbing Mount Ararat
TOUR SCHEDULE (8 DAYS)
1 DAY :
Flight from Istanbul to Van. Akdamar Church, Van Castle. Hotel in Van.
2 DAY :
Car ride from Van to Doğubayazit. Hotel in Dogubayazit
3 DAY :
By car to reach 2200 m on Mount Ararat. Hikking to 3200m in 4 hours to the camp.
4 DAY :
Optional acclimatization.
5 DAY :
Hiking for 5 hours to 4200m for camping.
6 DAY :
Starting 2.00 am for trekking to the summit and descending down. Visit İshakpaşa Palace. Hotel accommodation in Dogubayazit. Dinner with the view of sunset and local folk music entertainment.
7 DAY :
Flight from Kars to Istanbul.
In this trip, everyone must bring their own personal supplies. As courtesy of our agency, any item in shortage will be lent by the agency whereas available.

Please note that climbing Mount Ararat requires an official permit from the authority. Passport information has to send to us at least 1 month prior to the scheduled trip.
