AHMET ERTUGRUL

Ahmet Ertugrul has been finding the remains of Noah’s Ark, which was tested by radio-carbon dating. He shared the news with the worldwide media, which made Turkey a big name around the world.

Ahmet Ertugrul was born in 1971. For many years, he has been working in tourism, tour organizaton in Dogubeyazit. In 1983, he became the mountain guide in Mount Ararat. Since then, he has worked in the summer and winter tourism activities.

In 2003, he founded Dogubeyazit Mountaineering and Tourism Development and started the cooperatives. In 2004, he established  The Search and Rescue Association in Dogubayazit (DAKUT) and is still the president currently.  News of DAKUT can be found on the internet. Over the years, DAKUT has conducted many rescue missions on Mount Ararat and the neighboring regions to bring people into safety at the time of accidents and disaster, like earthquakes and snowstorms. DAKUT saved a  lot of lives in a major earthquake in Van in 2011. 
He set up a mountaineering gear shop,  Parasut Outdoor Sports in Dogubayazit in 2006 for trekkers to replenish any neccessary items at the last minute before the climb.
He was born in the industry of tourism, operating Parasut Camping (formerly known as Ishakpasa Palace Camping). He has worked in tourism for 30 years in tour operation, mountaineering and tour organization. Also, he is the president of Faith Tourism Association and Research and Development Association.

Note; He has established long standing friendship with people in Eastern and Southeastern Turkey for promoting tourism. Numerous foreign tourists become his friends after joining his tours.

He has become a world known figure for being the discoverer of the Ark in 2008. Since then, he appeared in press conferences and sharing meetings in different cities around the world organized by Noah’s Ark Ministries International (NAMI) Hong Kong.

MEHMET CEVEN

Mehmet Ceven was born on 01/01/1979 in Topçatan, a village of Mount Ararat, He spent his childhood on an elevation of 2700 m on Mount Ararat with the nomads. He followed his father’s footstep to become a mountain guide. At the age of 14, he became a professional guide. He has climbed to the summit of Mount Ararat many times and the first time was with his father at the age of 12. He has been on the summit of Mount Demavent on 5650m in Iran for 20 times. Also, he reached the summit of Kilimanjaro on 6000m in Tanzania. In addition, he is a licenced mountain guide and the Vice President of DAKUT and Dogubeyazit Mountaineering and Tourism Development. He has worked with many travel agencies for mountain trekking tours on Mount Ararat. In 2012, he decided to startup a business with Ahmet Ertugrul (Parasüt )  by setting up NUHARARAT Travel Agency.

He is also a member of the Ark Search team led by Ahmet Ertugrul to work with NAMI Hong Kong.
